Hello, Wednesday and Sunday Kerry here!
So - after the birth of my 3rd child and rapidly
approaching 39 I decided my 40th birthday present to
myself would be this - I would get back to that
weight and size I was before having kids - 8 and a
half stone - 10/12
I'd done the gym thing in between child 2 and 3 but
knew I worked better and pushed myself in a class. I
saw the Boogie Bounce advert in the Tamworth Herald
- I'd done aerobics and step before and it sounded
fun so I went along.
OMG what fun! I get bored easily and BB really keeps
you interested - it's difficult without being really
hard - just hard enough to take your mind off the
workout you are doing!
It really didn't feel like a 'proper' work out but I
noticed the changes within 4 weeks - I was more
toned and weighed less :)
6mths down the road I am down from 10st 7lb to 8st
12 - nearly at my target weight and I got my first
size 10's.
I can't believe how toned I am though - my legs and
bum better than ever and my baby tum is shrinking
fast.

Well where did it all start?
Before January I was really down.. and not happy at
all with my weight. I used to eat so much crap, I'd
drink at least 2 litres of full sugared coke a day,
then loads of chocolate & sweets on top I was really
getting out of control it was something I strangely
looked forward too, it was almost my vice for life.
So I decided I was to do something about myself...
So I decided to join weight watchers, and my friend
Lindsay & my Mum decided to join with me... So went
along to a meeting, thinking I was going to be the
biggest.. but no I wasn't. I had done so many fad
diets before & I personally wasn't getting anywhere,
I'd stop on the diet for like a week then give up.
Then I thought I'm not gonna do this, but my first
week i lost 6 pound and I was really shocked! And
every week I lost at least 2 pound or more one week
I lost 11 pounds! I always used to post on facebook
7 people would comment saying well done etc!
And then my weight started to come to a stop.. and
needed to do something else to boost my metabolism
up... & start tightening my skin up!
Then in march a friend was talking about an exercise
class on face book, it was called BOOGIE BOUNCE! I
thought this could be fun so i decided to book
myself a class & go along - feeling a bit cautious
because I heard only women went along.. but it was
fine, they all excepted me for being a lad & wanting
to do something about myself. I remember my first
lesson Jenny saying keep it low for the start but
did I hell, I was enjoying it sooooo much and just
got stuck in!
I personally have come along way, I have lost 3 & a
half stone almost 50 pounds since January. I have
had a tremendous lot of support from my friends,
family & facebook & probably couldn't have done it
without the help of boogie bounce. I look forward to
each lesson I go to made some good friends along the
way.
Anyone can do it!

I have never really been
into the gym etc and have
tryed the odd classes here
and there but never really
maintained anything, then i
meet Jenny Belcher at a
Pram-a-robics class that
some of my mum friends had
told me about, these classes
were great and co-insided
with my home excerise
routine, but i wanted to
move on to the next level
and spoke to Jenny about
what she thought was right
for me to lose more weight
and to become more toned,
Jen told me to come along to
“Wiggle weights” all i can
say is this is JUST THE BEST
CLASS EVER, not only are you
burning fat your also toning
at the same time, and i have
really noticed some major
differences to my body, my
arms and chest are so much
more defined and my legs,
well my hubby says there
looking great

.. Id already lost 1 and
half stone on my own which i
was proud of, but have lost
another 14lbs with wiggle
weights alone, and im still
lossing weight now at a
sensible rate and
maintaining to keep it off,
im not one for wanting to
look super skinny but after
my pregnancy last yr i was a
lot bigger than id ever been
so this was the solution i
was looking for.. I’m
attending x 3 classes a wk,
plus cardio at home and for
the 1st time i can say i
LOVE doing excercise and its
now become part of my
lifestyle, not to mention
the benifits its had for my
asthma.. The classes are so
much fun (sometimes too much
fun eh jen CLAMS)
